Gifts of Time and Talent
Community volunteers are an invaluable resource in this important work. Contact Antoinette Grier for more information. Lydia’s Place seeks volunteers for the following programs: · A Mother’s Voice – Volunteers help incarcerated mothers record stories for their children. Requires a commitment of about 2 hours twice a month. · Family Fun Activities - Lydia’s Place needs volunteers to help with monthly family fun activities and events, including trips to local attractions and holiday parties and get-togethers at our office or another location.
Spread the Word
Most people are not aware of the challenges facing the children of prisoners. Public awareness and support is critical as we work to address their needs. Please help us spread the word about this important issue!
